Nature of ZnO:
Our product's apparent specific gravity gd is between 2.0-2.8 (the apparent specific gravity gd of normal products in the market is around 0.8).
The product is white / yellow colored micro powder, It is consist of amorphous or acicular particles. It is non-poisonous, tasteless, yellow colored in high temperature, white colored after cooling with a fusion point of 1975oC.
The product is amphoteric oxide, It is easily soluble in acid, alkali, ammonium chloride and ammonium hydroxide.
Given the condition of moist air, the calcined ZnO may transfer to Zinc-Carbonate by absorbing H2O and CO2,or be reduced to metal zinc by carbon/CO.

Crystalline
Zinc glaze has a strong crystallographic tendency，and large particles can be seen even in transparent glaze。During the crystallization process of autistic glaze，calcined zinc oxide is an indispensable crystalline agent，which can form large and beautiful crystal patterns when the molten glaze is cooled。
Production of cobalt blue glaze
Calcined ZnO is a quite important bind of flux in the manufacturing of cobalt blue glaze。It can enable ZnO show beautiful blue color in the glaze。
Ceramic Pigment
Ceramic products used in constriction inducting commonly used color glaze for decoration to improve the product's use value and aesthetic value。Calcined ZnO is also a kind of excellent fluxing agent，filler，mineralizer and glazed carrier。It makes the glaze even and the color accurate and gorgeous。By adding calcined ZnO in glass，the transparency and brightness will be greatly improved。It can reduce the thermal expansion coefficient。It is widely used in optical glass，electric glass and low melting point glass。
Melting Agent
Calcined ZnO has a high density with a good glaze slurry liquidity, which greatly reduces the shrinkage of raw glaze before burning. It is able to reduce the viscosity during melting, increasing the liquidity of the glaze, enhance glaze binding force, prevent bald glaze, shrinkage glaze etc.
Opactifying agent
Pry adding calcined ZnO into ran glaze with higher content of A1203，the whiteness and turbidity of the glaze can be improved to form better opacified glaze and light effect。
